I had the exactly the same problem and then got to the stage that it wouldn't work at all. So i looked it up in the manual and found out that it was the filter, (and thats not the lint filters like i originally thought lol) so i cleaned it out and now it works better than new. Hope this helps you cos it was such a relief that i didn't have to buy a new one.

We have NEC NW-652 washing machine, we set the water level and start the machine, when the machine reaches the set water level it continues to fill and the machine starts to work

Sounds like the water level pressure sensor is not working. The code (E9) means the switch is open.
You'll need to replace the pressure switch. Check the manual for the repair procedures.

Thank you i have fixed it now
Hi, I have just bought a second hand 3yr old NEC nw-652 as well and I am having the same issue. It will stop before the spin cycle and it makes these massive jolts which put the clothes on one side and always makes it uneven. I eventually did get it to complete the spin cycle but the clothes are still saturated and considering it will be pouring rain for the next week, I doubt they'll ever get dry.
This is a really bad washing machine. It takes 90mins to do a cycle! How do I fix this, if possible?
