i try to open it on another computer which is p4 processor and is recent to the old one ,it is opened and recognized well, so i think it is hardware problem in my old p3 computer. that's has old usb 1.1 port. I have changed the motherboard from Intel to Gigabyte(GA-G32M ES2L) since then the problem of my pc freezing while playing games started. My configuration is Processor:Pentium D...

1) Make sure that your Power Source is giving enough energy to the new Mother Board and make sure it's compatible.
2) Make sure that the new Mother Board is compatible with all of your current hardware, you can check this in the webpage from the Mother Board Company.
3) Check the voltage requirements for the Mother Board, check the BUS speed of the Mother Board and compatibility with the transfer speed of each of your current hardware.
4) It's never recommended yo change only a Mother Board since usually there's going to be problems with the rest of the hardware if it wasn't changed, if the problem persists, you'll have to buy new hardware that is compatible with your new Mother Board.
5) If you know how a BIOS works and how to configure one, you could also check the configuration in the BIOS, not sure it will work but it's worth a try if you know what you're doing.

When turned on, hard drive will not connect (mount) to computer.

1. Your hard external hard drive may not be supported by the mother board.
It may be to large for the PC to detect.
check *********** board manual to see if the hard drive is compatible with the PC.
2. Check the USB connection with another USB drive to see if it is detected > if so then the 1TB drive may not be compatible with *********** board.

Gigabyte mother board ga-6bx7+

You might have damaged the CPU/ motherboard during the process of overclocking.

Check your CPU on other compatible mobo.

Check your mobo documentation properly & set the jumpers rightly. If that doesn't help, you will have to replace the mobo.

Gigabyte mother board

hi reason y it wouldn't start is because the 2 is not compatible, what u can do is get a Intel P4 not a celeronD check the socket size and make sure that it correspond with the board that u have. The board that u have uses a 478 socket size so u need to get a processor with the same socket size ok... that should do the trick
