Samsung Laser printer ml-2010. New toner cartridge installed since a few months ago, printed about 500 pages since then but lately having 2 faint white vertical lines from top to bottom on a dark background. Already shook the toner cartridge to spread the toner but to no avail. The lines are always at the exact same spot. Could it be some of the laser LEDs that are going bad? Total printed pages so far 1744.Thanks for any info.
Was the toner remanufactured/ compatible? Sounds to me like the doctor blade in the cartridge is 'gummed' up and not allowing the toner to flow evenly across the Developer roller......try another cartridge

I would not advise you to refill a toner cartridge becausethe toner powder is very fine and you do not want to breath in this tonerpowder. When the toner cartridge is exhausted or empty then theprinter will not be able to print further documents or the prints will be veryfaint. You may be able to print a few more pages by removing thetoner cartridge and shaking the toner cartridge in a horizontal position a fewtimes and then placing it back into the printer. This will give you an opportunity to print a few more pages and giveyou time to purchase a new toner cartridge for your printer. A cheaperalternative is to purchase a re-manufactured toner cartridge for your modelprinter.A re-manufactured printer cartridge also replaces worn partsas well as refilling with toner powder.
You have to flash the printer with the fixed firmware and it will never ask you again for a new toner cartridge :) it is a 1 minute job for me and i charge my Local customers 10 Euro mostly because it has to be done just once and then you just refill the cartridge without doing anything else ( this is just an explanation - i don't want your money)
I'm using remanufactured toner provided with my ML-2010 by Discount City when I purchased the printer and I'm having the same problem.
I have used non OEM toner in other laser printers also with disasterous consequnces so I think you'll have to 'bite the bullet' and purchase a new Samsung toner cartridge unless you can find out who manufactures the cartridge in which case you might be able to souece one directly avoiding the extorionate mark up.
