I own a Raymarine ST3000 Autohelm and all of the sudden one day it reads the wrong compass heading. I tried to recalibrate and was able to get it dead on but when I engage it takes the helm about 30 degrees to starboard and can't seem to find the heading wanted it just keeps searching and searching. Has the control head gone bad and do I need to send it to you for repair? If so how much will it cost? Or is there something I can do to maybe get it back to the default settings? It was working fine for the past 6 or 7 years then all the sudden its doing this. What's Up?

SOURCE: My plotter seems not to output NMEA to my DSC radio and auto helm

Your plotter can talk to you Radio and your pilot. It sounds like one of two things. You must go into the system setup menu and turn on the nmea sentances. You will need to turn on RMB, RMC, GGl at least. You can turn on all the sentances if you like it does not matter. If this does not fix, check color of wiring is correct. Remember you have to go from NMEA + out (on plotter) to NMEA + IN on Radio. Then you need NMEA - out(on Plotter) to NMEA - IN on Radio.
You can look at the sentances wirth a multi meter coming out of your plotter. You put meter in DCV and connect across the NMEA out lines. You will see the meter move every second or so as it send a sentance.

SOURCE: Compass reading on GPS 60cSx about 30 degrees too high

Calibrate the compass (Main menu --> Setup --> Calibration --> Compass), follow the instructions on the screen.
Also, see page 50 of the manual.
Calibration must be done outside - stay clear of any large metallic object (e.g. car).

Where do i get the electric motor (in the UK) for autohelm st3000

Try one of the on-line auctions like EBay. You may be able to get an entire unit for less than just the motor.

Raymarine smartpilot x-5. The fluxgate compass is some 45 - 60 degrees out from the boat compass. I have tried to recalibrate but this does not solve the problem. Any ideas?

First of all - is the boat compass correct? How does it align with COG? Secondly, do you have a magnetic field that interfere with the fluxgate? To test for this you can use the compass on your smartphone or a handheld compass, move about in the boat and keep the phone/compass aligned with the keel. If the heading drifts in the area where you have your fluxgate today, move it.

Hi I have a raymarine c120,dose the hiden electronic compass have a reset button, when following a track on screen im am traveling sideways or a stern,,,do I need a new one or reset,??

Do you have the display configured for "heading up"? If it's "north up" then the map orientation will be fixed and your heading will change. Look at the softkeys under "presentation". The C120 doesn't have a hidden electronic compass; it uses the heading from the GPS (which will wander around when you are stopped). If you have a Raymarine autopilot it will provide compass heading to the C120.

I installed a Raymarine compass sensor in a GRP sailing boat underneath the chart table at least 50 cm away from metal and magnets. It is connected to a SP X-5 computer unit and a ST6002 autopilot...

If I were troubleshooting this, I'd manually adjust the orientation of the compass sensor until it matched the true heading. Once that was done, I'd move it side to side to ensure it's changing in the correct directions. If not, the unit could be upside down. Let me know how this turns out.

Where do i get the electric motor (in the UK) for autohelm 4000

Raymarine wants nothing to do with anything labelled "Autohelm" any longer. Yuur best bet is to try Ebay or replace the pilot altogether.
