On a recent trip in my rv both tvs quit working. Within 24 hours both 2005 rca truflat tvs quit working now all they will do is power on but show absolutly no video or sound ,my cable connection is good.It will not do anything but power on and power off. There were no power surges or any other problems ?

really depends on the model. I've got a 2005 26" RCA truflat that has both digital and analog ota tuners--I can pick up off of rabbit ears OTA broadcasts, as well as via coax cable (cox cable) any of the unencrypted clear digital channels (QAM). Just can't handle the encrypted channels. If there are multiple coax inputs, check their labels--if labeled digital, likely that you've got a QAM digital tuner. Also, in the menuing system, channel scan--does it identify signal type as selectable digital/analog?
The surefire, get the model number, goto RCA.com website, download the user manual.

my 36" rca green light blinks 3 times, no picture or sound
SOURCE: 27F520T RCA Truflat, won't scan for channels, auto or manual, only blue screen, no channels on tv
You need to replace the microprocessor. GoodLuck there is 52 pins to unsolder and resolder a new one. The price for the chip may bee about $35

well if u have a VCR or DVD play with u can run it though the the vcr first then back up to the TV makes sure u have the correct channel on and if that is not the case u may have to buy a small switch box (wal-marrt) Cheap to add more AV in puts.
Let me know if this works!!
Thank U jayson
