When i start PLaunch.exe (the file which was installed with driver) nothing hapened. I think the program should start.
I tried to reinstall, but problem is the same. Whene i looked what drivers are registred in Windows, i saw that there is no drivers for my Genius Mouse Pen 8x6. Please help me.
I don't know if this is a solution but I found out that the usb-cable had something wrong with it. Problem this time was physical. The cable had propably connection problems inside the tablet so I just sent it back and got another one. This one works perfectly, just as it should. So, there might be a slight chance that your tablet is, unfortunately, broken when this problem occults. You should send it back just in case.
I've had a similar problem - I unplugged the tablet from the PC and back in again, the PC recognised it as new and reinstalled it straight away (this is on XP). The first time the driver stopped responding I had unplugged the tablet because intended to deal with problem later. Plugged back in - worked. Twice now. I've restarted to see if the driver stopped again and if I would have to re-plug the tablet, didn't need to, I guess it's a solution to keep in mind next time this comes up.

After doing a bit of reading, it seems the Brother MFC-240C model is discontinued. I didn't see any support for windows 7, so what we can try is changing the compatibility.
1) Uninstal the suite/drivers, then restart your computer. 2) Reinstall the suite/drivers and restart your computer once again. 3)Look for BrCtrCen.exe in the directory of where ever the suite is installed. Should be either C:\Program Files (x86)\Brother\ControlCenter3\BrCtrCen.exe (for 65 bit windows) C:\Program Files\Brother\ControlCenter3\BrCtrCen.exe (For 32 bit windows) 4) Right click BrCtrCen.exe, go to compatibility options and set the compatibility to vista.

No it is not fixed despite another 10hours of downloading and reinstalling. The whole process works fine as a download and set up should BUT the printer still tells me that the 1200 series printer drivers are not installed. Local Experts are baffled.
IT WILL BE FIXED JUST AS SOON AS I FIND THE BIG HAMMER!!
Go to a command prompt (CMD) by navigatinf to START->RUN and typing CMD
In the command prompt, type
Type c:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\8\Intel 32\IDriver.exe -Embedding
Then run your setup.exe or install.exe of the prog you are trying to install...
If this doesnt run, think there must virus infection in all your system...
Does any other setup files runs in your system?
Please leave these details as comment and we will provide further assistance
I am of the mind to do a complete reinstall of the operating system including flash the BIOS even if it is the same version. I worked many hours tracking down and thinking you found every part of the problem on to hit an .EXE and it all starts over again....I just clean out everything and start fresh. If you tell us what make and model of computer along with the operating system it is we can direct you to the drivers for the reinstall. Some off those programs - for example AOL seem to be virus magnets. (if it is a dell it is really simple if you just put in your service code- it give you your particular driver of your computer.) That is what I would do...Or you can keep hunting. please leave rating,,,thank you
If these steps do not fix the problem, then go on to the next section.
To run the Microsoft Windows Installer if Norton AntiVirus was installed from a downloaded version
On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Find (or Search) > Files or Folders.
Ensure that "Look in" is set to the drive where you downloaded Norton AntiVirus, and that "Include subfolders" is checked.
In the "Named" or "Search for..." box, do one of the following:
In Windows 98/Me, type the following:
In Windows 2000/XP, type the following:
Click Find Now or Search Now. You might see many files with this name. Look for the file with this name that is located in either the Symantec_Norton_AntiVirus_2003 or the your Windows temporary file location depending on your version of Norton AntiVirus.
In the Search Results window, do one of the following, depending on your version of Windows:
In Windows 98/Me, double-click Instmsi.exe.
In Windows 2000/XP, double-click Instmsiw.exe.
In the next dialog box, click Yes. This will undo the changes that were made to your system during the first failed installation.
That's terrible. The right soution should be to try AshampooUninstaller or similar software that gets off EVERY BIT of unwanted software. Use function "Install new applications". It asks for setup.exe, install.exe or similar executable file, that runs Antivirus 360 installer. Point to it. After all the installations completes, "Ashampoo Uninstaller" logs the installation. Now uninstall the unwanted program using "Uninstall logged programs". That's it!
If you really damaged your operating system, do buckup of your important data and reinstall OS
if this does not work then extract the driver file you downloaded "CJXP73LE.exe", go to start ->settings->printer and faxes....install a new printer (make sure local printer and auto-detect are checked)...follow it through and your printer should install. if at any time it asks for drivers or you want to manually point to the drivers then browse to the location where you extracted the "CJXP73LE.exe" file. you can download a program like "winrar" (type it in google) to extract it.
