When i start PLaunch.exe (the file which was installed with driver) nothing hapened. I think the program should start.
I tried to reinstall, but problem is the same. Whene i looked what drivers are registred in Windows, i saw that there is no drivers for my Genius Mouse Pen 8x6. Please help me.
Yes, I've encountered the same problem and tried everything to fix it. It seems that reinstalling newest drivers won't work, the PLaunch.exe just won't open any window (neither it won't show up at the bottom corner). I've even tried to unplug other devices that may affect the drivers (such the ones using directX, although I'm not sure if it has to do anything with this). I don't know if this is a solution but I found out that the usb-cable had something wrong with it. Problem this time was physical. The cable had propably connection problems inside the tablet so I just sent it back and got another one. This one works perfectly, just as it should. So, there might be a slight chance that your tablet is, unfortunately, broken when this problem occults. You should send it back just in case.
I've had a similar problem - I unplugged the tablet from the PC and back in again, the PC recognised it as new and reinstalled it straight away (this is on XP). The first time the driver stopped responding I had unplugged the tablet because intended to deal with problem later. Plugged back in - worked. Twice now. I've restarted to see if the driver stopped again and if I would have to re-plug the tablet, didn't need to, I guess it's a solution to keep in mind next time this comes up.
Hi, i just got the Genius MousePen for Christmas and this exact thing happened yo me. i thought i tried everything! but i was wrong. ok.. first, unplug your pad, then you go to your start menu, go to PenSuitePro, and click the pen commander. it will show a little icon down in your lower right of your screen. then it will work. the only thing i am trying to find out now is how to lift up the mouse pen and leave the writting on my screen. if you know how, please post it.

With the tablet unplugged from your system, Install the software that came with the MousePen. This will ensure that your system has all of the necessary drivers.
Once that has completed, plug your tablet into a different USB port on your laptop than what you used before. Once you complete this, it should work. What version of windows are you using?
Listen up kiddos! I had this same problem and I was troubleshooting....apparently you have to make sure you uninstall the old drivers first and delete the directory entirely, before reinstalling the software. So, UNPLUG THE TABLET! This is the part that screwed me up... then go to start > all programs > tablet > uninstall. Run the wizard, restart, go to my computer > local disk drive > program files and delete the Genius Tablet folder. Then, install the drivers again, reboot, THEN and ONLY THEN, should you plug your tablet back in.
you can go to the prouct website. geniusnet.com and download the mac driver. there is a list of drivers for specific platforms that you can download and install. just get the driver for the mac and unzip and install it.
as for the pensuite, pop in the cd that the tablet came with and try instaling it separately and manually instead of auto install. when the main menu pops up only install the pensuite from the cd onto the mac... if that doesn't work mbie you can download the programe.if that doesn't work then i don't know... *smiles*
I had a similar problem myself, this is due to temp files which are extracted during an installation.
What happened is that a program extracted a setup file that was Read only into the temp directory. and that this file could not be overwritten or deleted, by the system (as it should be able to.
to fix look in your temp directories to find this bogus setup file, when you find it delete it.
I have the same problem to people can you also tell me how to fix it
