"No Disc" Error

My DVD player used to work just fine. Now I put DVD's in and I hear them spinning and the screen looks normal and says they are "loading." However, they never load and then I get a message saying, "No disc" when there is a disc in there. I've tried all kinds of DVD's new and old, and ones that have worked before and I get the same message. Not sure if the lens needs to be cleaned, if there is something else I can fix, or if it's time to get a new one. Please help! Hopefully, it's fixable as I haven't had the player that long.

We also cannot load dvds anymore. It used to spend a long time saying loading but would get the no disk message. NOW we just get no disk error.

This dvd player is only a year old! It is a slimline type you hook up to your television. We don't even hear the spinning anymroe. I tried cleaning it but that even said no disk!!!!!

HELP! I am not able to afford replacing it ...is this a costly fix or can it be fixed by me?

I purchased a toshiba portable dvd player and the disc is not spinning therefore reads no valid disc. I have put in a few discs still same reading? Any suggestions?

Hello
The Sled Motor is defective. this is the motor, whic spins the disc as it has been loaded properly. If the loader mechanism loads the disc properly into place and if the catch up magnet catches the disc in place, and still the dis do not spins, replace the sled motor. OK.

I have a digital labs model K715 dvd player. when i put a disc in, it spins, screen say its loading but will spin, stop, spin and stop again. Wont play the disc.

Try doing the following...

Making sure the "line select" has been switched from "in" instead of "out". Once you switch it back to "out", the player should work normally.

Samsung 3650 dvd/vcr player loading problem

Sorry, no suggestion other than don't buy Samsung. That's my conclusion after owning the same model. It worked fine for a while, but now won't load any DVD... usually. Sometimes it will play one, but more often it won't. Mine tries to load ("Loading") for a long time, I hear the DVD spinning, then ultimately the screen displays "This disc cannot be played" or something to that effect.
