As the machine goes into the rinse cycle the cold water solenoid does not activate, it does activate in other cycles, such as filling up at the start.

Hoover Elite 920 top loading washing machine will not fill. I can manually fill the machine and it will run through a cycle until fill is required for rinse cycle and then I have to manually fill again I...

first check the water is switched on to the machine. If it is then you most likely have a faulty water valve. Switch all power off and remove the top panel should be 4 screws or so. If it has 1 valve then replace it.

My hoover washing machine won't spray rinse or deep rinse on cold

Rinse cycles are normally with cold water only.

I believe you have a faulty cold water inlet valve. To confirm, put the machine on a cold only wash cycle, and see if it fill up with water.

If it does, then the valve is O.K. In that case the problem you are having with the rinse cycle is most likely a timmer fault.

Good Luck

Kenmore front loader washing machine very long wash cycle

You need to replace your cold water, inlet valve.

Unplug the machine from the power source. Disconnect cold water hose. remove the top cover of the machine. You will see the cold inlet valve/solenoide where the hose fits.

Take note of where the wiring goes. You can get the part from your appliance parts outlet.

Refit, and you should be right to go.

Good Luck.

Washing machine cold water not filling

Typically this indicates that you have a water inlet valve that is not opening. Replacement of this part would be ideal, and should fix the problem.

Lg washing machine wft855a top loader

Following up my comment from yesterday, I took the machine apart and discovered that the black rubber cover on the valve that releases the cold water had perished and cracked, and wasn't opening properly.
I tested the hot and cold solenoids and everything checked out ok. Was just the cold valve sticking.
The wash cycle was working because I was using hot/warm water. As the rinse cycle needs cold water to get started, it was not working and the rinse and spin cycles wouldn't complete.
I have swapped the valves over for now (put the working hot one on the cold side and am using cold water only). It's working while I order a replacement...
