Adding developer to the new ricoh aficio mp 1500

New ricoh aficio mp 1500 came with toner cartrige and a developer. how to add the developer?

Are you a tech? I suspect not. You need to remove the drum unit, disassemble, separate the drum from the development unit. Remove cover of developer unit, add developer, reassemble, and run SP2214 to calibrate.
This is NOT a procedure to be performed by an end user...no disrespect intended.

Your gears in the Development unit are probably worn out and needs to be replaced. Machine will not be able to add and cycle toner if these gears are worn out.

Check your developing gear maybe one already worn out replace one set 5 pieces if not try re-install toner cartridge twice, check sp mode -toner drop or reset. hope this may help you.

Ricoh aficio mp 1600 add toner problem ?
If its not adding toner there could be 4 possible causes, 1.make sure all the covers are closed, if they are not then the machine will not "run" to add toner. 2.Did you check to make sure there is enough toner in the toner bottle. 3. when the machine starts running/adding toner, can you feel a vibration or hear noise like gears grinding/slipping, if so, call a technician to replace drum/dev gears.4. when you open the toner tray/harper/hopper, at the bottom there is a flat silver sliding plate, when you slide it open, is there toner falling oout of that hole, if not, ask a technician to strip and clean the toner tray/ harper/ hopper.

Have you replaced the developer yet???? It could also be the unit that the toner bottle goes into. There is a paddle wheel inside of it that move the toner and it may have broken up... Good Luck

I added the toner in ricoh aficio mp 1500 but is still saying that there is no toner
how many copies on the machine? to find out press the user tools goto counter
if it is over 60,000 you will need a new PCU you may also need a new toner hopper (toner cartrage holder)

Sir, My copier model RICOH MP 2000Le shows error . ADD TONER & some time it shows SC 302
sc 302 - charge roller current leak. strip the drum unit (dmu) and clean the unit

My Ricoh Aficio MP 161 said to add toner but still won't copy
Check your old toner bottle and make sure the plastic "cap" is still in the bottle. These machines have an occaisional problem with the caps coming off (not the black screw off cap but the semi clear cap under the black screw off cap) and staying inside the black plastic "cup" that you insert the toner into. If the cap is missing it may be stuck inside this cup. If the cap is still in your old cartridge then try opening/closing the front door and letting the machine cycle to see if the toner light goes out. May have to do this several times. Had one customer just yesrday have to do this to clear the toner light after adding toner.

you must clean developer and drum section. after that you must put new developer and initialize it. After that place in correct toner.
