Usually this is a sign of the button getting clogged or worn down from use. Best bet would be to get a new mouse, gaming mice have very high quality buttons ;)

SOURCE: Logitech wireless mouse

Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.

If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud

Right mouse button closes window

1) Can you try the mouse in a different machine? Does it do the same thing?
2) Check your settings in 'SetPoint' software, or go to your Control Panel and check your mouse settings - you may have accidentally changed the settings for your mouse keys somehow.

3) Download the latest drivers for your mouse and re-install.

Double clicking, left button

Hello, if the mouse is double clicking randomly means the mouse button or button soldering are broken, maybe you might want to try opening it up and resoldering the mouse button, if it doesn't work you can use an old mouse button that fits the space and solder that one in the mouse that's having problems, reassemble and see if it works, the good news is that most of the time it does.

After accidently unplugging the mouse's usb reciever, the pointer froze on the monitor screen.

Try plugging in a standard mouse and changing the settings to it, Then re-boot. Once booted try plugging the TrackMan Wheel back in and changing the mouse settings back to it and re-boot again. Let me know what that does for ya.

It could be a bad Trackman or a bad PS/2 Port.

1st test if it's the port by trying another mouse, or by trying this Trackman in another known working PS/2 port on another computer.  (don't forget to reboot each time you plug in a PS/2 device)

2nd, you can try using a PS/2 to USB adaptor.

These two have great reviews...
