GE Arctica fridge PSS26LRBSS - temp control blinks '0'
This fridge has been setting for a few days unplugged. I plugged it in and the temp control indicators for the refrigerator and freezer both stay dark and only blink "0" about every 15 seconds, then go dark again. I have tried unplugging and re-plugging. This didn't help. The freezer is getting cold but the refrigerator seems to be warm. This is 2+ hours after plugging it in. Any ideas? Reset procedure?
Thanks to anyone - my food is getting warm....

first run the diagnostics on the unit from the tech sheet inside the unit, then if thermistors are bad replace these there are 2 one on the left and one on the right wall in both fridge and freezer,if good per diagnostics then replace the electronic damper door located between the fridge and freezer compartments in the upper left hand corner of the fridge behind the plastic grille as these doors break and jamb open or shut and the temps can no longer be regulated during the diagnostics tests you can hear this door operate if its operating correctly, lastly,if these fail to solve your problem, replace the main control board in the back behind a panel
its either the ptc overload on the units compressor is bad and is easily replaced by unplugging the old and replacing with a new replacement, the only other thing it may be is the cold control for setting the temp of the freezer/refrigerator,but normally these don't go out
It sounds like the main control board is going bad . This controls every part on the fridge , except for the light bulbs . It's located on the back of the refrig , behind an 8" X 10" panel , with about 11 screws , holding the panel on . Part number WR55X10656 .
It is normal operation for ARTICA fans to run continuosly except when the door is open. If the door remains open for 3 minutes the fans will run anyway.
The temperature will vary about 6 -8 degrees from the selected temperature. The temperature will increase during a defrost cycle.
I do not believe you have a problem.
