Kenwood mp335 I have a kenwood mp335 with the bluetooth adapter and the ipod adapter. Everything is working except when using the stereo the attenuator keeps turning on and off. Does anyone know what would cause this?

I was reading that there is a 'mute' wire, that when touches -12volts, will mute the stereo. just a thought.

This is a wild guess but I would wager that the Bluetooth adapter is somehow being fooled into thinking you have an incoming cellular call 9the radio mutes when you get calls...). Now, the question is: What's causing it to trigger? To see if i'm correct, unplug the Bluetooth adapter and see if the problem goes away.

Kenwood car stereo (DX503) reads Ipod information, but suddenly there is no volume (song name's and artist stream as usual, but there is no sound)

Check your connection from Ipod and the car stereo it might lose or borrow connector wire or bluetooth ( if your using it ) to check the apparatus if its work or check it to the other car stereo with the same model. Check the format requirements of the ipod and car stereo. If this can read Mp3 or Mp4 or any format as it was before. Is your radio and cd player have sound when you play it. If not your Amplifier is not working.

Hi, We have a 18 year old Kenwood stereo which is still working perfectly and would like to plug in the ipod Touch is this possible if so how. Many thanks Nicky

"Plug in" as an iPod interface - not directly. ANYthing that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input (except PHONO). Get a cable like the one described here: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021804&p_id=665&seq=1&format=2
and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono".

I imagine the iPod manual speaks to that, too, somewhere.

KENWOOD KDC-MP335

Yes, you can. It took me almost a month and about 70 dollars wasted to lfigure it out though. All you need is the the audio jack. Its a simple chord that runs to your aux jack in the back of your head unit. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACTIVATED THE AUXILLARY CONTROLS ON THE CD PLAYER. YOU DO THIS FROM THE MENU SCREEN. The chord cost like five dollars at wal-mart.
