Lexar MP3 Player 100

Upon turning on the player the message "Incorrect Format - Reformat Player". How do I do that? Connection to my computer gives the same response.

    Turn product on, Message indicartes device needs to be re-formatted.

    How do you achieve this?

I contacted Lexar and they sent me new firmware updates that do not seem to be working at the moment, but I will contact them again I suppose.

Attach MP3Lexar MP3 Player 100 - 1.gif to computer1.gif.
Open explorer and right click the MP3 drive letter.
Choose FORMAT
Next window choose FAT32 and Quick as the options.

Connect your player to your computer. when the computer finds your player, open my computer. Highlight your player by left clicking. Choose the folder you want to format, Usually the music folder. Next, left click and a menu will open giving you options such as format drive. a menu will open. choose to format using fat 32

While it's plugged into your PC/Laptop go to My Computer and locate your player. Right click on it and the format option should come up.

Lexar MP3 player

Connect the device in Storage Device (USB Mass Storgae) Mode and then format the storage disc to FAT you can use the DOS command: format X: /fs:fat where X: is the storage disc drive letter.
