MY SCREENS ON MY MOTORAZR2 V9 HAVE BOTH GONE BLANK, IT IS AN OLDER PHONE BUT I REALLY NEED MY PHONE FOR WORK. I AM OUT OF TOWN AND CAN'T GET TO AN ALLTEL STORE TO GO GET IT FIXED OR A NEW PHONE FOR TWO...

Hi,

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Good luck.

Treo 700 P red, white, blue, green checkered screen

Finally found this solution! It is a connection issue at the bottom of the phone where you would plug in the cable to hotsync your phone.

Put in your hotsync cable and wiggle it around really good and it will fix the issue. Do this with the battery out and then pop it in until you have fixed the issue. Took me a few tries as I was worried about how hard to do it, but no problem!

Check if the songs on your memory chip are in mp3 format... If possible get a card reader n directly putting songs on card via computer as this has been a known issue with alltel phone...

I HAVE A LG AX300 AND MY FRIEND SENT ME SONGS THROUGH BLUE TOOTH AND THERE UNDER MY MUTIMEDIA, AUDIOS, MY AUDIOS BUT IT WONT LET ME SET THEM AS RINGTONES. AND ALSO IT WONT LET ME SEND PICTURE MESSAGES OR...

The LG AX300 is a phone that is not compatible with video i have the same phone if you cant take video you cant recieve it, and it is very aggravating that you cant send ringtones to other ppl. But if you could no one would buy them from realtone jukebox, im guessing that you got your ringtones from there. Notice the little blue and red arrows beside your bought ringtones that is something that Realtone does so that they dont loose money. It's pretty lame that you cant set recorded sounds as your ringtone but if you get a ringtone from another person and it didnt come from realtone you can use it you have to do this.

1. go to your multimedia menu
2. go down to number five and select shuffle
3. choose ringtone list
4. click add
5. and last you select the ringtone and only the ringtone that you want, and it should work it will show up on your rintones list instead of my audio. This is the only spot this will happen

Phone needs to be reflashed with a new firmware. But all saved data will be lost.
Then it will work as it should.
Thanks
