Machine in ready to print condition but the fiery did not support, fiery shows load heavyweight in tray 5, and the command workstation did not work properly, no ripping, no spooling the cross cable is ok, I think the fiery can't connect to the printer.

Troubleshooting the Fiery
Startup diagnostics are described in the documentation for service technicians. Contact your
authorized service/support center if you see error messages while Command WorkStation is
starting or if the Fiery does not reach the Idle state.
Runtime error messages
For error messages related to canceling jobs and printing, including the Disk Full message and
alerts to load media, see Command WorkStation Help.

For error messages related to the copier, see the documentation that accompanies your copier.
You can turn on PostScript error reporting as a print option from Mac OS applications.
Printer not found
Most failures to find a printer on the network are due to conflicting or missing name or
address settings for the Fiery. You must type names in specific places. The required names are:
•TCP/IP host name (also known as the DNS name), which is defined by your organization.
Type the host name as the Server Name in Fiery Setup.
•Remote printer (internal machine) name. Use one of the following:

direct
NOTE: If you change the DNS name (also known as the TCP/IP host name) of the Fiery, you

If you are printing from an Adobe product make sure you are printing as image and let the printer manage the colors. Also, try calibrating and updating the machine through Command Workstation which can be downloaded for free from www.Efi.com. Download the updates by going to the Fiery web interface by typing the ip address of the copier in the web browser and going to the configure tab and clicking on check for updates. Make sure you install them in order and reboot the machine in-between updates. ALSO, you can import the file directly into the fiery by using command workstation avoiding any driver complications.

Fiery unit s400 will not work

If you press the Fiery button on the copier does the copier display the Fiery logo and the menu. If yes you are just missing the Fiery software for the workstation (called Command Workstation I believe). If no you will need a service call to possibly reload system software.

Fiery xp12 is loading without end

Have you checked the paper trays are filled and ready? Also unplug for a couple of min's and see if that clears the memory as it may be trying to forfill a print request the never compleated.... Had this happen a few times....

First 30 pages of a print run after 24hrs idle are blank

don't upgrade the xp, it runs a limited version to ensure that the command workstation works ok. A reload is probably in order to start again. Any updates can generally be found on the xerox website, and installed via command workstation
