Cd Player Lights Up No Music Coming Out Of Speakers
I Purchased A Sony CDX-C5000X.I Plugged It in It Worked For A Couple of days Then I Parked My car for a week,Then I Got back in and tried to play a cd and everything lights up just fine all my wires are fine, the beep option on the sony xplod works and will sound through my speakers.But i still cant get any music to come out of my speakers. i can turn it all the way up and get nothing. I've tried cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol and qtip. and i still don't get anything. Ive Ran a cd lens cleaner I can't even tell if its working or not no sound. Please Help Me With this problem thanks.

when you disconnect it from cables, it resets. But i believe that is not the problem. Check speaker cables. I think you have problem with internal power amps. They have thermal and current protection. look for short circuits on speakers or speaker cables.
To eject the cd, try disconnecting the harness then plug it back in it should spit it out. As far as the reset, I have the same deck, and have not seen one. It either doen't exist or is hidden very well. Maybe download the manual PDF online and check that.
you should have 3 leads going into you multi changer, two rca's and one bus lead. power up the unit and remove the first rca cable if the music goes off unplug the second rca and plug the first rca where the second was plugged in, if the music comes back on then the multiloader is working fine and you need to check the radio controller and its connections
