Nero 7 and Vista update.

I know most of people will disagree with me, but I will write it anyway.
Disable Windows Update, specially if you have windows more then few days (months) with plenty of programs on it.
Updates are ok only when your computer is freshly installed.
You should have firewall and anti-virus, and updates disabled.
About Nero player, but did you tried free program called GOM player, I use it for all media, its simple, easy, small, and its free. No need to update and no problems.
I don't have anything against Nero Home, but I use only Nero Burning ROM to burn CD-DVDs, and GOM player for movies, ..
Well if you want it your way, solution would be re-installation of Nero if uninstalling of update doesn't work.
Uninstall Nero Home, and install it again, then disable updates !
Most of the updates are not needed. If program works for you why would you update it :)

Well ya can always remove the bad update.. You can actually remove then from add/remove programs.. find the latest date updates and remove them.. then it all may come right. Also go to Forums about Nero I would think other may have had same problem? May I also suggest Alcohol 120%, CopytoDVD, as alternate Burners...
