The type of audio power and the number on onkyo A917 amplifier

Hi
Usually there are 2 transistors for each channel, if you don't know the numbers on the transistors.
there is another way to get as close as possible to have equal or similar to the same type of transistors (NPN/PNP)
example: 2SA is PNP transistor.
there are (2SA/2SC) transistors and there are (2SB/2SD)
complementary transistors
1: you have to know the supply voltage for the transistors
2: choose transistors that it is equal to the current and voltage that suits the supply voltage.
follow this link to find suitable transistors.
be aware and be careful that there other parts you need to check on the power amplifier circuit, resistors, capacitors and drivers etc...
I would suggest (2SD1047/2SB817)

Good luck

Kenwood with dc offset

DC offset is most often caused by the bias level for the output transistors changing for some reason. This could just be that the control is dirty and needs to be cleaned and re-adjusted, or the biasing network has a problem, most likely the diode or transistor that is being used to set the reference. The diode or transistor is often mounted to the heatsink for thermal feedback, which allows the bias to change depending on how hot the output transistors are getting, There is no mention as to how high the DC offset is. The usual range for DC offset adjustment is less than +/- 1 volt. If your offset is higher than this, there usually is a problem with the bias circuit that needs to be repaired. If it is MUCH higher, then one of you output transistors or driver transistors is most likely defective.

My problem i lost transistors for power for car amplifier audio apache i need numbers for transistors

There might be still other power transistors left, same part number

for the power inverter ( IRLZ43N on some ).

Except for the Main Amp that have Complimentary Pair

check for possible burnt or open resistors , too

Power supply transistor transistor no. C4237 replaced 4 times. each replacement didnot sustain for a week. which transistor can i use instead.

I have worked to repair a few of these. When the transistor is burned, you most likely have a bad flyback transformer and bad picture tube. In this case you replaced this (transistor) component four times. This TV cannot be saved. Thanks for asking.

Is There A Quick Fix For A Output Transistor Problem??,,,Or A Short??

If the output transistor is shorted you will need to replace the transistor. which doesnt cost much for the transistor, as long as you can install it yourself.

Output transistor is out in car amp

Hello nymnym999,

You did not specify which Fusion amp you have but if the insides looks like the Fusion PP-AM60020 image below, you'll have to "desolder" the transistor.

8e329a2.jpg
First remove the heat sink from the transistor case. You'll need a controlled heat soldering station, a desoldering vacuum tool commonly referred to as a "solder ******", and some desoldering braid. Be careful with the heat around other components.

After removing the transistor, use the desoldering braid to clean off any remaining solder from around and in the circuit board mounting holes. Position the new transistor and solder it to the board. Put a thin film of thermal compound on the heat sink and remount it to the new transistor. Use just enough of the compound to insure an air-free join between the transistor case and the heat sink. Reassemble the case and you're finished.

Hope this helps.

No amplification

The transistors are marked with the part # on them A1302 for example would be 2SA1302. most transistors all you do is add "2S" to the front. If the fuse opened then you may only need the two transistors, if it did not then you will need to replace the dual emmitter resistor and a few resistors 4.7ohm and 100ohm are common in pioneers.
