Unfortunately mobile mini is "mono" for bluetooth! Try the same music with cable instead of bluetooth and see if it works.

Also be careful of jewelry (heavy watches/rings) in between your Bluetooth headphones and phone. They can often interfere and will result in the condition described. As well try ensuring the headphones are fully charged as lack of power can also result in conditions described

Open up your computer the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer as is the microphone input
to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plugs make sure the connections are good
or you might have to clean the dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your sound card dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer

If you are running Windows 7 you can have audio set up to listen to the mic. I would not recommend this though as there is a slight delay from you talking to it coming out of the headphone. This can cause you to stumble on your words. But solely for testing purposes do this if you use Windows 7:

1. RIght click on the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your display and select recording devices.

2. Make sure the microphone you use is highlighted blue then click properties button in lower right corner of the window.

3. Click on the listen tab, then check the box that says listen to this device.wdaexodus.png

If you want to used mic please insert it to color pink or red then if you want to hear sometimes using your headphone plug it the connector for audio in green. Chat weird sound

Can you try your X1 on a PC? If the mic sounds weird on the PC as well as on XBL, then there's probably something wrong with the mic. But if the mic sounds good on your PC but not on XBL, then you probably need a new chat-controller cable, which should fix things right up.
