Frozen player I turned my player on and suddenly it froze on screen - I cannot turn it off and it is not responding to anything. When I hooked it up to my laptop, the comp. said that it couldn't detect the player.

Press and hold the power button for @ 10 seconds. That should shut down your device. Then, after it shuts down, again press and hold the power button until it reboots.
Try this: Press and hold the wake/sleep button and the home button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple logo should appear on the screen. Release the buttons and it should work like normal. Hope this helps.
Well, mine was frozen, and wouldnt respond to anything i was doing. so it wouldnt turn off. I let it stay on all night, but in the morning i went to it, and it was dead, so i went and plugged it up to charge, once it got a little battery, I turned it on, and it worked perfectly fine. try thisss(:
Stuck or frozen you have to hold the the menu and middle ong for 10-20-30 secs
