My webcam GE easycam (not plus) says cannot connect to video capture device, then it says cannot find driver
...just though away that piece of shit and buy another one!!!! ( I had the same problem)

First, the camera will not work with Vista. If you are running XP or below try this:
With the camera plugged in to the USB port, go to “Control Panel”
then select ?system icon?
Now click on the ?Hardware tab? and now the ?Device Manager tab? make sure your View is set to ?Devices by type? this may vary according to your operating system.
Locate any device with a YELLOW (
The Wizard will begin. Choose no not at this time for windows to search for driver, click next
Choose install from a specific location. Make sure the disk is in and choose search removable media. Click next.
This should resolve the issue.

it will not connect.......say can not find vfw driver.......ive deleted the files 3times and rebooted system each time........one time I pluged cam in usb and next 2 times I didnt........
