I read the manual and it seems that changing the color is not an option. Sorry.

Garage sensor problem

The colour on the sensors doesn't change.
One is orange constantly and the other is green when detecting a signal from the orange sensor.
If the green is flickering, they are not adjusted correctly.Move the green sensor until you get a good solid green. Holding the wall pad button down, just bypasses the sensors.

Try adjusting only the sensors so that they are solid.

In addition, check the little yellow light on the back of the machine and count the flashes.
The number of flashes will tell you what the error is in your manual.

He lists that the old style wire has become obsolete, and shows a diagram of how they line up to the new style.
