you can reset if you do a hard reset. follow this procedure. 1. switch the tab off. after, 2. long press power button + volume down key simultaneously. 3. after it shows the logo then release the power button but continue pressing the volume key until the wipe or reset menu appears. after that you can reset/wipe it.
