Sanyo PLV-70 projector bulb will not fire. Tried 3 differnt bulbs, 2 of which are known to be good as they work in other projectors, any ideas as to what might be causing it?
Bought a new bulb since the warning light (yellow) came on. Shortly after that the lamp light came on (red) and now the projector will not turn on. Any ideas? The fan may be out that keeps the bulb cool. The shutdown is to protect the lamp from overheating. Do you have any flashing indicator lights on the projector after turning it on?
what about the Projector Condition leds: POWER, WARNING and LAMP REPLACE? How are they lit? For good measure you should also clean the air filter (the projector might not be getting enough air to cool the lamp)
1, the lamp is ok
2,the lamp ballast is ok
3,seems that the power supply or mother board is defective

Upon setting up your equipment it is very important that you turn on the projector first. You will see a blank projection image, now turn on the computer, (confirm your cables are connected properly). When using a lap top computer you may need to disable your computer's display screen. First locate the "function" key at the top of your keypad that reads "LCD", "CRT" or it may have an icon that resembles a computer monitor. By pressing the "FN" key and the corresponding "function" key you will be able to obtain the image from the projector only. This is known as "toggling" the image.
