Question about Rancilio Silvia Espresso Machine
It more likely is the automatic boiler shut off if the boiler overheats. Just reset the boiler.

Youve probably run your boiler dry and blown your thermostat/s. You'll need to have them replaced. You may get away with only having to replace one. It will cost about $80(AUS) to have done or less if you source the parts and do it yourself (not recommended).

The espresso boiler produces a cool and clear brew; the machine top does not heat at all; the froth boiler works just fine. What to do?
