I turn on the TV the Red Standby light blinks in cycles of 5 blinks. After a very short period the TV shuts off!
This sounds like the shutdown circuit is shutting down the TV due to an over current condition. This overcurrent condition is caused by a component in the HV section drawing excessive current. the 5 blinks is a visual indication of the problem.

What do the 5 red blinks mean?

the volum comes on the red stand by light blinks and about five minutes or less it sounds like a breaker trips and lose the volume and the stand by light will stay on constant or go of completly.
the tv will turn on after afew min it shuts off . what is the solution?
