The computer says No Sound Device and when I checked Hardware there is a yellow question mark and exclamation mark by the multimedia audio controller. Please tell me how I can get the audio back.

You will need to download and reinstall the sound drivers into the system or use the Dell Drivers disk that was shipped with your computer to install. You can download the driver from the link below.

i hope u re install your operating system,
after the re installation u did not install the drivers that is the reson, best way u buy an ethernet card and try to get net connection and down load the drivers from dell.com ,then remove the card ,thats it.

And try a clean install of the drivers.

For that first uninstall driver for ethernet controoler and audio driver from add remove program.
Also uninstall both from device manager.
Right click on my computer then click on property then hardware ->device manager then uninstall both from that list.
Then download driver from below link.

Click on above link and select yourt operating system and download audio and ethernet driver then install.

you can go to dells website and click support drivers and downloads type in the service tag of the machine (its 7 letters and nubers found on CPU Ex: BF14FJ1) and based on the service tag the correct audio drivers should be displayed for you to download.
