Re: Uploaded pics to pc and now it wont turn on
First check batteries, because on Digital Cameras they go out pretty fast. So if you know for a fact it's not batteries, then also dust in a camera can jam it and cause it not to work simply open up and blow in it softly and add new batteries, if don't at first work try again.

sir the memory card that you have in your camera do not allow pics to upload.Because the card that we put in the camera only allow picture to download from it.It will not allow pics to upload to it.If you want to upload pics to your camera try after putting a micro SD card. For that you should buy a micro SD adapter. After putting micro SD into that adapter you can put that into your camera. Then it will allow both uploading and downloading.
Sounds like you pulled out the camera without using the "safely remove hardware" function. Try this...remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.
If I understand you correctly, you put pics onto the SD card using the computer, then put the card in the camera and now can't see the pics? Is that correct? The camera won't recognize the pics because it uses a different recording system than the computer. Now if you want to take more pictures using that card, you will need to format it in the camera first.
Hi It sounds like the card is faulty (it does happen). I had one that acted similarly. You could try using the card in another camera to check - I have a card that works OK in Olympus camera but not at all in Fuji! Best of luck Martin
As long as the smartmedia card was not formatted it is possible to recover the images that were accidently erased, lost or corrupted. You can go to the following website link and download an image recovery software program that is free of charge. http://www.z-a-recovery.com/ You want to download a program called Zero Assumption Recovery. It is a very simple program to use and many people have had much success in recovering lost images.
Data recovery is a booming industry, and many appropriate services and software can be found by searching regional phone and business directories or the Internet for terms such as "image recovery" or "data recovery".
Turn the camera off and connect the usb cable between the camera and the pc. Turn the camera on. Go to My Computer on your pc. Do you see the camera as one of the drives in the list? If not, do this:
Turn the camera off and disconnect it from the pc, and turn it back on.
While in live view, hit the menu/ok button.
Scroll to the right to the the icon with the wrench (set up menu).
Scroll down to usb configuration and press the menu/ok button.
Highlight Disk Drive, then press the menu/ok button.
Turn the camera back off, and reconnect it to the pc.
Turn the camera back on.
You should now see it as a drive. Open the folder and find a video you recorded and try to play it.
