Sony cyber-shot 600 digital camra

Hi i have a problem with my camera when i turn it on theres a black screen and it tells me to switch power on and then of i've been trying to do that but its not helping so i don't know what to do please help me. regardes vesna

Can you play back stored images ? if yes and picture quality is normal but no picture in capture mode then it is CCD sensor fault and it has to be replaced. If you have no image in playback either then you might be lucky and it is the LCD screen. Lucky because repair is cheaper.

Maybe your Sony cyber-shot battery power is low, have a charge of it.

Technical problems with dsc - t1 digital camera

This is known problem of ccd imager chip failure in DSC-T1 camera and ccd imager chip will be replaced to get live view in LCD to take pictures.
Sony offers free of cost repair for DSC-T1 for ccd imager failure problem.

Sony cyber shot camera lense stuck halfway.
Hi,
    According to the symptom your camra needs replacement Lens block, It is due to malfunctioning of zoom motor. The part No along with description is given below:
1-788-363-11     OPTICAL UNIT
  Replace the unit with new one and it works fine again.

Hi

Switch your camera to Setup on the control **** located on the top.

Take out the memory stick and press the reset button located inside the battery compartment.

Now switch on the camera and insert the memory stick.

If you do not get the error go to the little toolbox on the menu. Select the format option and proceed through the warning messages. Remeber you will loose all data on the memory stick.

Things should now work. If not some simple thing that sound bezare but has worked for me is pushing the memory stick in and out before the camera displays the error. Do this several times until the camera actually reads the stick and them format the stick first chance you get.
