I bought this tv March of 2008, and Feb 2009 light engine went out, confirmed by TV repairman. Went through samsung directly.. WORST COMPANY EVER!!! No longer make this part, took 6 months to tell me that, after order went to 4 different repair companies. Finally, they offered $1770 to replace tv.. and weeks later, received a call that it was not approved so they offerred $1200. Still waiting for this check.. paid $2399 for this tv, still owe $1100!!! Samsung has worst customer service ever and do not stand behind their products. If you find replacement part for this tv, please post.. the part is expected to cost $850 and has to be professionally installed at $300.

all 3 lights blinking means lamp has a fault the service manual says replace the lamp. If you need the service training manual for that model let me know and I will post the link as the training manual has excellent trouble shooting breakdowns for that model DLP

The red just died in my tv about a month ago. And they have been trying to fix it, but they just told me that they dont make the engine anymore. Now they are going ot be me a new tv. But not a samsung, because samsung does not off this tv anymore.
