What sizes do Downrods come in? Standard ceiling fans include a downrod ranging in length from 3 inches to 6 inches, which is suitable for standard size rooms with a ceiling height of 8 - 9 feet. However, fan downrods can range up to 177 inches depending on the manufacturer.

What kind of cpu cooling fan can I use in a Acer America ASE380-UD420A desktop computer?

Cooling fan to CPU are come along with the CPU. You can use any other fan, having speed regulator pin, ie, the connector wire to it will have three conductors. Keep a close look at the size and seating screws to its body to the heat-sink of the CPU.

Fan making noise.

Most all fans can be replaced with ease. There are 4 mounting screws included with a new purchase. I suggest Amazon.com or Newegg.com. Most fan sizes are available and all sizes are in mm. The most common sizes are 120mm and 140mm.

What size case fan for HP Compaq dc7600?

What size case fan? Dunno.

1) How to measure the fan? Across the fan's shroud. (Surrounding Cage) Fan stood up, measure the Height, and Width.

2) Look at the label on the fan's center hub. Write the number down.
Now which of these CHASSIS fan numbers match?

http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com/HP-Compaq,Business-Desktop-dc7100-dc7600-dc7700,Computer,Fans.aspx

A) 3777791-001
Chassis Fan - 70mm x 70mm x 15mm.

70mm x 70mm is the height and width of the fan's shroud. (Surrounding cage) [ Chassis fan stood up ]

15mm is the Thickness of the fan shroud.

Nope, not that one.

B) 451144-001 Chassis Fan - 92mm x 25mm

Could be.

C) 455310-001 Chassis Fan - 92mm x 25mm.

Could be.

I have an old gateway 7023ge computer and i wanted to find out the size of my cooling fans so i can replace them. i have 2 fans one front and one rear. they are both the same size.

Computer case fans for older computers were usually standard sizes of 80 millimeter or 92mm, maybe120mm. 25.4mm = 1 inch, so an 80mm fan is about 3 inches. Measure the diameter of the fan from the tip of one fan blade to the tip of the opposite fan blade. A 92mm fan is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and a 120mm fan is about 4 3/4"

Again, these sizes are _nominal_, so whatever your measurement is closest to is what you need. You should be able to measure the rear fan from the outside back of the computer without taking anything apart.

I want to ad afan

Most cases already are set up for an additional fan. You may find which size you need in your users manual or online manual. You just need to size the fan with the opening and mounts, purchase the kit, it should come with a fan, screws, and a cable to get power to the fan. Installation is simple. Just make sure you get the right size though.
