I have a brother LC51 and when I try to fax, it rings but once the receiving fax picks up, I get a busy signal. Also, it will not receive faxes. Any Ideas. Thank You in advance for any suggestion.

PICTURE IS SMUGGED

If you're printing on photo paper, make sure you are printing on the correct side. Most photo paper has only one side to print on, the other side is a non-porous backing, and ink will sit on the surface until it dries (15 - 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity). And it won't look good even when it dries.

If you're printing on the correct side, try a different brand/type of photo paper.

The Brother lc-51 series cartridges fit a variety of different Brother printers.

On this Brother.com support page

you should select the printer model that you have, and download the user manual for your printer. Once you've downloaded the manual, look in the 'Routine Maintenance' section for how to change the printer cartridges.
