I cannot write on my word 2010, it keeps telling me about selection is locked. Please help

It is possibly the receiver to the fob signal that has stopped working, this receives the instruction from the fob to tell the locks to open & close... I hope this helps...

I don't know definitely but I suspect buried in the boot lock is a switch that must be activated to tell the brain the boot is closed. When a certain amount of wear has taken place the boot will close without activating the switch. I encountered this on a Citroen and was able to temporarily overcome the problem by moving the striker outwards.

The sensor on one of your wheels for the antilock brakes is defective or dirty.

It sounds like you have a virus. To be specific, "Vista Protection 2010" sounds suspiciously like a class of viruses called "rogue AV", which lock down your system and harass you into giving them your credit card number. Often, once you do, the program will not stop doing what it does. They will tell you your computer is full of viruses and stop you from running programs.

To get rid of it, boot into safe mode by rebooting your PC and holding down F8 as soon as it starts to boot. Select safe mode (or safe mode with networking). Disable the virus starting up with the computer:

1. Hold down windows+R
2. Type "msconfig" and press enter
3. Select the startup tab
4. Look for entries with truly nonsensical names like geiuwyzi.exe and 80221919. Also look for "av.exe" and anything with the same name as the virus. Disable each one using the checkbox beside it.
5. Reboot your computer. The virus should not be visible.
6. Run at least one antivirus program. I personally recommend MalwareBytes and ClamAV (you don't want to know how many of these I see where the poor user has relied upon AVG or Avast). Run a full scan - as the virus is not currently running, a quick scan may not detect it.

That should do you.

You will have to open the 2010 file using Office 2010 and then use the File>Save As... selection from the menu and when the window opens, use the drop-down menu under the file name to select PowerPoint 2007 Presentation.

That's about the only way I know how to do it.

This works on the F30, F60, and F80.
Resetting the Waste Ink Volume Counter
1) Enter SERVICE MODE.---
By pressing Menu-Copy-#
2) Select TEST MODE.
3) Select [8] PRINTER TEST in TEST MODE.
4) Select 3. [EEPROM CLEAR].
5) Select 0. [INK COUNT].
6) Press the [OK] key.
7) Press the [Stop/Reset] key (returning to the state of 3)), and then press the [ON/OFF] key.

Skip step (6) since there is no [OK] key on F30 printers.

look on the right side of the laptop. you will see a symbol of a lock one way locked one unlocked move it to locked and the problem is solved.

if you have the instuctions for the dvd?? this will tell you how to unlock. if you scroll back to when you locked it. it should tell you to unlock if its a child lock just scrol to child lock and select unlock
