Greenish prints Hai Since a few days, the color prints are quite green, although the printer tanks are not empty. I tried the canon setup utility but it didn't resolve anything. Thanks for any suggestion. Cheers Pieter-Jan

Try a new color tank or put your existing color tank in another printer to find out whether you have a printer or a tank problem.. Good luck !

Hi, My Canon MP210 printer is displaying E3 code. The colour light and alarm lights are illuminated constantly and black one is flashing. When opening the "lid", the cartridges do not align to...

I have workaround for the empty tank issue:
- buy or borrow another not empty tank
- place it in
- start the printer
- it recognises the "new" tank
- turn off the printer
- put back the old, empty, but refilled tank
- turn on the printer
- print something
- it will pop up a dialogue window saying
"The ink level of the black/color tank cannot be
determined. The ink level determining function will be
disabled for the black/color tank.
If you want to continue printing without this function
press the Start button on the printer."
- Press the Start button on the printer and ignore the
button 'Cancel Printing' appearing on the dialogue window.
- The dialog window disappears.

You can print your refilled tank as many times you want from this time.

When you go to 'Printers /Canon /Properties /Maintenance / Printer Status / Ink Information' it says that the ink level measuring function has been disabled for: black [40] / color[41]. You can ignore this this message, the printer will work perfectly without this stupid function.

Canon i350 does not print all colors

HI,

Hope this will give you hints. To pin point directly you need to replace printer head. But before replacing please consider suction cartridge caps or nozzle by cleaning and freeing clogged airways by dettaching manually. I understand that the long time being not used has caused the problem. However if you can still use black and other colors then used it than complicating downtime in repairing procedures. Yes, you are right no need to clean deeper more than three times it will consume inks half empty. Have a nice day.
Please don't forget to rate the solution..

When I print a picture it is greenish. All the

You need to make sure you are not using the photo magenta, your printer doesn't use photo magenta and it leaves the prints green. You need also to run the nozzle check print by holding the resume button until the green light flashes twice, and see if all colors are printed. If not you need a new printhead, the part number is on the side.

Printer

Maybe you mistyped? Is it 'head or 'header'. I believe it is head you want to say. In that case your printer requires a new print-head to be installed.
Your printer has separate ink tanks and heads for printing. The head has a limited life although it works for along time.
The printer should indicated which color head needs to be installed. Try cleaning the head with the printer software first.
You can purchase the head of that color (or colors if more than one) and follow the install procedure in the printer manual.
If you also want head installation instructions, please take some time to post it as a separate question. I will try to give complete instructions.

When printing tell printer to use color space sRGB.
let printer determine color.

Tank indicator did not show cyan tank low/empty, after changing tank, still no blue color

1) Make sure the tape was removed from the cartridge when installing the new one.

2) Try running a few cleaning cycles as this primes the cartridge.

3) DO not print without ink as it may damagew the head.

Will not print black

first of all the most important auestion is have you used compatible ink cartridges or genuine ones, because the print head clogs up with compatible ones, i really doubt that the cartridge you installed is damaged because i haven't come across this and i am a canon technician, i know this model well
