My dryer started making a loud squeaking noise and my clothes were getting caught in the top of it at the front. now the dryer stopped working all together well if u turn on the timer it does heat up but the tub does nothing please help!
Check the drum slides, they are bushings that make sure the dryer has thrust but not too much. If they wear out the drum has too much movement back and forth and clothes will get caught in between the drum and the dyer housing, and might not turn if its get caught at a funny angle inside the housing.

Check the belt, it might be time to change.

Open the service panel and look for a broken belt and does the motor spins. Let me know if you will need for further assistance. Good luck!
