Question about Ricoh Aficio CL3500N Laser Printer
After trying to print a self-sealing envelope on my Konica-Minolta Magicolor 2400W color laser printer, I noticed my printouts have lots of smudge marks down each page. K-M support suggested that glue from the envelopes got on the drum and caused toner to stay tuck to the drum. They suggested I print blank pages to remove the toner.
But after printing several hundred blank pages, and trying several alcohol-moistened sheets made to clean printer drums, I've still got the smudging problem. When I asked K-M support if I could manually clean the drum, they said there's not enough room to access the drum, and it's too hot to touch. Any suggestions?
Drums are not hot, you can try to clean them, are they smudgy? More likely the glue came off when it hit the hot section check this area, be carefull not to scratch anything.
