Plug mp3 player in to usb. Does your computer recognize mp3 player? If yes, than go to "start menu" than "my/computer", than you will see drive folder with mp3 player. Leave this window up.
Now find your music folder with songs. Click song file, drag file to mp3 player drive folder and drop it in there. It will be added on your mp3 player.
Another way mabey easier, is to open media player, click sync device, Now media player can read mp3 player. In media player, find your songs in library or the folder that has them. click on "songs" or song file and drag it to the right side of media player and add it to the list of songs that will be added to mp3 player. Once all the songs are in the list on the right side, you can click the button at the bottom and they will be added to mp3 player.
IF YOUR COMPUTER DOESN'T RECOGNIZE YOUR MP3 PLAYER, YOU WILL NEED TO SEARCH AND FIND THE DRIVER FOR IT AND INSTALL IT.
this is a simplest problem generally in mp3 player connect it to your computer so just format your device by going to my computer and right click on it and format it now or my compuer> right click> formatthen restar your computer NOTE: UNPLUG THE DEVICE

Yes. DVDs are easy as you probably already know, you just need a DVD capable drive and appropreate software to play.
VHS tapes are another matter altogether. You'll have to purchase something that will convert the analog signal from the VHS player to a digital signal your PC can use. I have a device I use to convert VHS tapes to DVD (ADS technologies) I could use to watch tapes but the software leaves a lot to be desred.
