Not able to print, keep saying 1 document on pending. I have deleted everything and still no able to print. scanner, copier and fax is working normally.

I've seen this before...

The machine is calling for legal sized paper and it thinks it has it in the paper tray. Check the back stop that is inside the paper tray. It should be a green guide that is closest to you if you pull the tray out. You may have to lift up a flap on the end. Make sure that the paper stop is on the correct paper size for what is in the tray. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Do you have several attempts showing in your print que? Go to control panel, then printers, the double click on your Brother printer icon. See if there are documents stacked up. If they are, Windows will not send anything to the printer until all documents are printed in order. I hope this fixes your problem. Thanks for using Fixya.com

Brasilian Portuguese:
Resetar = desligar completamente a impressora, ligar pressionando a tecla "menu"
assim ela entrará no modo "MAINTENANCE" apertar "01" aguardar, apertar "99". Ela irá resetar
completamente e reiniciar.

English:
Reset = completely off the printer, turn on by pressing the key "menu"
so it will enter in the "MAINTENANCE MODE" press "01" wait, press "99." It will reset
completely and restart.

Could be a sensor in the ADF, or the hinge on the left rear of the scanner cover is broken.
