Motorola V3 with Transmission Problems

Hi, I bought an UNLOCKED MOTOROLA V3 cell phone & apparently works fine on the network. However, the problem is that even if the network is at 5-bars, people cannot hear me & have a lot of problem placing calls, the cell giving me REDIAL all the time. Could this be related to the UNLOCKING itself, or you think it is simply a bad phone so I need to return it? Also, I would like to activate another language (SPANISH) besides english. Now it has only english and some oriental language. If so, how is it done? Many thanks, AT

What you need to do is go into the network settings on the phone and select the band and have it do a manual search and ahve it located the band your network uses, and this shoudl correct the signal issue

MOTOROLA NO SERVICE

alot of guys that sell "unlocked " phones sell a regular network-specific phone but they'll include a universal unlock wafer-thin sim that fits in your phone between your sim card and the phone contacts. Look in the box ..if you still got it look for a plastic sd card sized container and see if there's one with you phone... if not you can get one on ebay for about ten bucks..
let me know what happens... KEN
