Program clk1 how do I change the code on key pad to open door

i have a lift master chamberlin garage door opener and need to change the code on my key pad outside, k\my problem is i have no enter button when i put my new code in on my key pad, does anyone know how to help me change my code on my keypad without the enter button....there is a pound and star button

Shouldn't need programming but you can try this.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.


If this doesn't work you will need a new keypad.

PRESS THE SQUARE BUTTON ON THE POWERHEAD
YOU THEN HAVE 20 SECONDS TO PUNCH IN THE NEW CODE AND PRESS ENTER
THE NEXT TIME YOU PRESS ENTER THE DOOR WILL GO

You must hold that red button in for 6 seconds to erase the memory. Just remember you will have to program your hand remotes plus the wireless keypad.

Changing the battery should not cause it to stop working but you can try programming. Press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over and key in your four digit code and press enter.

You are using a universal keypad and usually the 0 button is "enter" look up directions for the brand keypad you are using

For most openers you don't need the old code.

Just press the program button on the powerhead enter the code you want in the keypad and press enter (within 20 seconds).
