Need the remote control code/s

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Search the site by type in the brand name to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to see the set-up codes to your device, with different brand remote controls.
Irrespective of the brand name of the remote control, some other codes said for Sherwood TV might work.

The only place you will find those codes, are in the back of the owner's manual. There is usually a general procedure to find a code that works, if they don't show the make and model number in the manual.

If you don't have the manual, I'm sure it on their website.

Sometimes remotes become available on eBay. Search "(model number) remote" and check the 'include description' box.

If you consider that a TV is just a lightshow, it's not that complicated...

Composite Video Out to composite video IN on the TV would be the minimalist absolute necessary connection for managing the receiver through On Screen Displays.

Unless you intend to dub video to a VCR or something, there is no reason to bring TV video into the receiver.

My preference is to send the BEST version of any medium (audio or video) directly from it's original source to the BEST ELECTRONICS that uses it; then send minimalist versions across for convenience and lo-fi watching/listening.

Any self-respecting modern TV has multiple hi-def video inputs, so run the Bluray, DVD, cable box video straight in and run the audio from those devices to the Sherwood.

Fewer expensive cables, no excessive connections to go bad, no unnecessary handling of the material.

I'm pleased to see the manual for this one (and the product's limited video capabilities) don't tempt the user to route everything through it on the way to the TV.

I would either check the Sherwood website to see if you can buy one (located here) or buy a all in one like a Logitech or whatever brand you choose.

This is the overload protection circuit. Make sure not alot of dust build up inside and make sure no speaker connections are touching. Most likely being that it a sherwood you will want to consider replacement.
