I've had this phone for a month and condensation has built up underneath the screen. The phone wasn't left outside, didn't get rained on or spilled on. I know I can order a replacement part from FixYa, but i'd like to take the slid/screen apart to make sure it's not a simple fix, like letting it air out or something. I'm looking for instructions on how to take the slide off, and take the screen out. From what I can see it looks like it's only a few screws to get the screen out, but only after the slide is separated. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Yes i bought a computer repair tool kit from Lowe's for 20 dollars it came with a T6 hex head screwdriver ( the star shaped head ) that is appropriate for the screws for this phone. of course opening your phone will void the warranty. 1st remove the battery and the your sim card, next remove the screws there are four of them on the back of the phone. next ( i used my fingernail ) seperate the external housing by running something ;-) along the groove. next remove the screw holding the camera in place and remove the board from the internal case. be careful not to unseat the ribbon.... there you will find the four screws size 000 for the slide

Hi,
first, you'll have to open the 4 screws at the back,
then open it from the sides with an opener, until the back cover is removed,
then you'll remove the mother board,
then unplug the lcd-cable,
then remove the 4 screws under the mother board, which are holding the upper sliding part,
then remove the screws of the sliding part,
then again, use the opener to open it from the sides,
you'll reach the lcd.
that's it :)
