I've had this phone for a month and condensation has built up underneath the screen. The phone wasn't left outside, didn't get rained on or spilled on. I know I can order a replacement part from FixYa, but i'd like to take the slid/screen apart to make sure it's not a simple fix, like letting it air out or something. I'm looking for instructions on how to take the slide off, and take the screen out. From what I can see it looks like it's only a few screws to get the screen out, but only after the slide is separated. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
Thanks!
Hi,
first, you'll have to open the 4 screws at the back,
then open it from the sides with an opener, until the back cover is removed,
then you'll remove the mother board,
then unplug the lcd-cable,
then remove the 4 screws under the mother board, which are holding the upper sliding part,
then remove the screws of the sliding part,
then again, use the opener to open it from the sides,
you'll reach the lcd.
that's it :)

Is it possible the trunk lid is not aligned right and not applying pressure to the gasket ? Or do you have a crack in the seam where the quarter panel and the center pillar meet up ? Or is it getting in behind the tail lamp ?
NO, it is most likely getting in through the cowl vent area under the wipers. Normally the water drains out the inner fender, but if its clogged with leaves and pine needles, it wont drain and will fill up past the cool air intake and get into the cabin. I would pull the cowl vent grille and make sure the drains are not clogged.
Unlocking your mobile is very easy.. You didn't mention your network provider and country.. You can get it unlocked by your network provider itself.. Otherwise get the unlock code at Theunlockspot.com for your mobile HTC 8525 by giving the required information...
inside the unit on the left side of the evaporator coil there should be a channel that allows the water to drain to the outside of the unit and cool the condenser coil use compressed air to clean this channel (a.k.a. keyboard cleaner) were safty glasses and make sure unit is unplugged then check drain to make sure it is clear before running the unit.
I have a small solution to what all of you are having with the black screen. I had the same problem so, what you want to do is keep pressing the power button. You do not turn the phone off, you will just put it in standby mode and then back on. If you keep doing that the screen will turn back on but you can not let the back light go out.
