Press the on off button once.if you press and hold the button the fax will switch off,but pressing it once it switches between auto print off and on.

Hi; Receiving to Memory Temporarily You can enable memory receiving feature temporarily. Received faxes will not be printed automatically.
  1. Press [ON/OFF] to select <AUTO PRINT OFF>.
  2. ??? The fax starts receiving documents in memory.
  3. ??? To cancel, press [ON/OFF] again.
  4. ??? When <AUTO PRINT OFF> is cancelled, received faxes will be printed automatically.

My work canon jx 300 is storing faxes. Auto print

Press MENU and # - this is service mode.Find CLEAR, and OK, then select clear ALL. After that fax returns to factory sett.
You will need to reenter your settings, but it should work.

Hi Lorraine,normaly with this fax it have a auto print off setting that keep the faxes in memory.You can turn auto print to on by pressing the on/off button once less than a second,then it will switch to auto print on.

Our Canon JX200 fax machine will send faxes but not receive faxes

Normaly it is the auto print off setting that is set to off,press the on/off button once less than a second then it will switch to auto print on.All the faxes in memory will be printed out.

Auto Print off...

Just press your on/off button once,then it will set to auto print.If you keep the on /off button press in for a few seconds it will shut down.By pressing it once it switch between auto print on and off.
I agree this is a funny setting on this model.
