Re: red green and blue lines
Most projection TVs have an option to refocus. For example, my Sony rear projection TV has a button on the front for focusing the lamps. Try finding this button or option in the menus with your remote.
Projection TVs actually use three lamps, one red, one green and one blue. These need to line up exactly in order to form a good picture, and when they come out of focus, you see the edges which sometimes has the effect of a 3D image when you aren't wearing 3D glasses.
Hope this helps!

More info would be nice. Are you using HDMI or Component cables. If it is component cables (red, blue, green for video white and red for audio) Check your red and blue connection. Green alone will give you a black and white picture. If you are using an HDMI cable, replace the cable to see if this changes anything or if you have another tv swap cables to see if problem stays with tv or moves to another tv.
Assuming this is a TV with a picture tube and not plasma or LCD; I'm
afraid that your picture tube is dying on you one electron gun at a
time. From what you said your green electron gun is almost totally dead
and the two remaining blue & green guns aren't far behind.
Eventually you'll have no picture at all and I would estimate that to
be about 6 more months but whatever the time eventually it will go
totally black. These blackout periods will get longer and longer. The
only way to fix your problem is a new picture tube but my will probably
find it less expensive to just get a brand new TV set.
you need to replace the convergence Ics thats why youre unable to align the blue. If youd like me to post a link where you can get replacement ICs as well as free tech support and instructions let me know and I will post the link.
I got this TV for FREE from a guy posting it on craigslist because he saw "BLUE SWIRL LINES" also knows as "Retrace Line" on the screen and he went to several repair people and got high repair costs so he was giving it away for free, but i found a guide that tells you how to adjust the tv to make the blue or green or red lines go away, aparantly the line show up because the voltage on the color ray gun tubes that get out of adjustment. Here is the Link to the REPAIR GUIDE. http://www.somelifeblog.com/2007/06/sony-projection-tv-red-line-repair.html
This problem is apparently occurs in 2 cases
1)Exposure of the screen to stron magnetic fields
This can be solved by degaussing(if this feature is there in your tv)Otherwise u can drop into a seervice center and it will be fixed in a jiffy.
2)Due to the presence of a dry solder(Loose contact) If you think you can try opening your tv and attempt to spot it.
Otherwise just drop into the nearest service center..U can locate by clicking on the link below
