First ensure that the fridge is level. If the fridge is level and still not cooling while there is heat on the rear of the fridge, then you will require a replacement cooling unit. Give Arcticold a call 1-888-782-6665 Web site: ArctiCold Refrigeration We keep it cold

SOURCE: AC,DC, gas RV fridge Dometic

You more than likely need to replace the control cable between the upper and lower board. It comes as a kit with the upper board. You can also do a bypass test by unplugging your thermoster from the circuit board. The thermoster is the temperature control for the refrigerator nothing to do with the freezer.

SOURCE: Freezer working, fridge isn't.

It is possible that your cooling unit is failing due to a blockage. The solution used to cool starts at the top of the fridge and works its way to the bottom. If there is a blockage in the cooling unit it could produce the symptom you have explained.

SOURCE: Camper fridge dont cool

I also had the same Model Make. I removed my fridge and placed it upside down, occasionally shaking fridge within a 24 hr period. This seemed to re-mix the ammonia solution and the fridge is working.
This may work for you but look for yellow stains if you see any your fridge is leaking and would require repair.

SOURCE: I have a Dometic RV fridge that wont get cold. it

It sounds like your cooling unit is going out. Here's a couple of things to check. Do you smell any ammonia when you open either one of the doors? When you look at the rear of the fridge, do you see anything that looks like rusty water that has run down any of the metal tubes and dried up? If the answer to either one of these is "yes", then youll need to start looking for a new fridge or replace the cooling unit on the one that you have.

I have a Dometic RM 2620 fridge, that won't cool. A squirrel got into wiring, I have taken care of wiring but will not work on gas or AC. Spark igniter will no spark either. Any ideas?

Since I don't know what does work I am kind of shooting in the dark.
Does the ac heater get hot ?
The spark ignitor is part of the control board. But won't work?
I assume that you have a user manual but I am including a link to download one.
https://www.dometic.com/f6e8a773-69f5-4624-9b35-54e8801da7af.fodoc

Note that there are three fuses. B (12V control) and C (120V Heater) on the control board and a thermofuse L located on the stack.
If L is good and everything else is good there should be 12VDC on J1 and at Fuse B

My Dometic RM2652 in my camper isn't getting cool enough when it's set on electricity. It feels cool, but not cold. The ice in my freezer turned to water, but it was still cold. The refrigerator section is...

Sounds like maybe your element for Heating when on hydro may be faulty. A voltage check at spades on board connected to element will confirm. If power to element but no heat felt at element should confirm it's faulty. Remember, if stack is already hot from propane, element will also feel hot, so it has to be out or fridge cooled down at back first.(off)

Not working on propane

Shut it off, (propane) and used compressed air to try and blow up that stack and clean out any rust that may be in there, as well as check for baffle hooked at top of stack, and hangs down inside the tube.

Our Dometic RM2193 cools on gas but does not work on electric

It could be as simple as a blown fuse at the fridge. Also check to make sure you have turned on the electric switch that allows the fridge to run on AC. Note, you can only operate the fridge on EITHER gas OR electric, but not both sources at the same time, thus, you have to turn off the gas switch before you can run on electric.

When this unit is running on electricity, it has to have the thermostat set for it to run.

Here's a link to the Dometic manual for your model.

http://www.alcovr.com/DATA/MANUEL/DometicRefrigeratorModelsRM2191&RM2193.pdf

Just follow the steps for running on electric and you should be OK.
Hope this helps.

Dometic rm 2607 makes a gurgling sound when started in a/c or lpg . no cooling, in fact the inside of fridge heats up.help ? thanks

If your cooling unit is gurgling, then you have air in the system or a bad cooling unit. There is a process known as "burping" that should help repair this. It is a rather lengthy process and will require two people.

1. Access the rear of the refrigerator. Turn off the LP gas to the unit. Remove the LP Gas line and the 12Volt supply. Unplug the fridge.
2. Remove the screws in the rear at the bottom and then remove the screws from the inside.
3. Pull the fridge out and lay it down on it's right side for 8 hours.
4. Flip the fridge on it's top for 8 hours
5. Now the left side, then back to normal.
6. Reinstall the fridge and turn gas back on.

Hope this helps,

Jeff
