Question about JBL CREATURE II Computer Speakers
The volume control buttons on the satellite speaker do not work. I can adjust the volume using the controls on my MacBook and Ipod. But nothing happens when I use the touch buttons on the speaker itself. Otherwise, the system works fine.
This problem is bcoz of the buttons only it require servicing see if you can show to service pesonnel he will help you out.

Try to simply disconnect and reconnect the right channel cable to the subwoofer.

same problem with the volume control buttons. Â They do not work. Â New system used a few times and that is it.Â
hey im not an expert but i tried to fix the same problem that u have, first i put some penetrant and some contact cleaner on both buttons and nothing, then i started to move my thumb palm (idk how to call it, bethoween the 2nd and 3rd joint starting from the nail of the thumb) upon the button and moved it up and down and every 3 moves the volume raised a little bit so u need to be patience it worked for me
yes, i have the same problem although when i tried the thumb method, it did not work. if anyone finds another solution, type it up. i would be very interested
Exactly the same. Touch controls do not work at all. Should I take the whole system to the technic support?
Thank you Dekalo, I couldn't adjust the sound, so I did what you said (I didn't use any solvent) but I kept working the volume with my thumb, nail and knuckle and I unplugged and replugged the sound speaker and it finally took and I have beautiful sound.
The right speaker, which controls the volume, had a broken pin in the connector, thus not working at all. I got the little connector changed by a friend and got both speakers to work but the sound becomes gritty/rattling (on the right speaker) when I turn the volume a little high. And If I crank it up it starts to cut off in both speakers. I have to touch the volume again to have sound coming out and I don't know if it is the cable with the new connector, the speaker buttons or the speakers being blown up. Does any one have an idea of what it could be and how to fix?
