Also, if you have a new Tungsten E2 and there is no important data, I would hard reset it and then when you sync it, select the old profile of the previous Palm to see if that works.

The new Palm you have, is it a Tungsten E2 as well?

The profiles don't always carry over between different models.

Fatal alert

I've had the same problem. Mostly I've found that it is a corruption with the documents to go database. (I'm using version 7). To make the error go away, you can delete the docs to go application and the documents and then reload both (make sure you set the desktop to override the handheld until you've got the docs back on your PDA.) I'm considering upgrading to docs to go v10 to see if this will fix the problem ...

IQue 3600 Fatal Alert

You'll have to do a hard reset. Push the reset button, then hold the power button until the Palm Power appear and then release the power button. Next it will ask if you want to erase the data. I hate to said this but select yes. No will not work. Then after the inital set up run a HotSync.

Unable to hotsync with my computer

anytime you get fatal alerts you have to do more than just push the reset button. You will have to do a soft reset or possibly a hard reset,(usually the soft reset works) Google it and you will find it is quite simple to do

IQue Resets itself when using antenna

When I left it running eventually it came up with a "Fatal Alert" message:
"SystemMgr.c, Line 5852, SysLinkerStub(): Failed to load the Shared Library.

I don't know what this means or how to correct it. I am in the Caribbean and was also affected. Thanks!

Fatal Alert

Here is Epocrates answer: "... A fatal error when opening the Epocrates application typically indicates that one of our database files has become corrupt. HotSyncing again may restore functionality. If not, uninstalling and reinstalling our application should correct the problem. Other Fatal Error messages relate to not enough free memory on your mobile device for a complete installation or, your mobile device does not use the correct Palm OS version. Please verify you meet our minimum system requirements by returning to our web site, click Support, and then click System Requirements by your Epocrates application. Delete Epocrates Palm/Win from your mobild device. On your mobile device, tap the clock (located upper left corner of your screen), tap App then Delete. Select the following files (one at a time) then tap Delete. You may not see all of these files on your mobile device. It may take several minutes to delete a file. The file will disappear from the program list or your mobile device will turn off when complete.
