SOURCE: no sound from rt2620 dvd
Hey, you will need to reset your coaxial, optical, analog setting back to the analog. Mine did the same thing.
SOURCE: Sound from tv very low
When asking questions that involve multiple units we really need to have make/model numbers and connection details of ALL the players in the scenario as each one has a role in the audio's pathing and control.
If the TV's audio section and speakers were superior to audio-specific componentry we own, why would we need Hi-Fi? Sometimes the audio from the TV is useful so we run RCA audio cables to the receiver from theTV. In some TV's the TV audio output is Variable according to the TV volume control or Fixed so the external electronics can have a contant signal.
In general, TV-related audio is best obtained directly from the source, not the TV. So your cable/satellite box should have its best audio connection going straight to the RCA unit.

If you really like the unit (disregarding the DVD player issues), maybe you could buy a GOOD stand-alone DVD or BluRay player and be ready for an upgrade in the electronics when the bug bites.
