Error code f-01 door won't open and clothes are in there still. Help!
My followup work-around: I unplugged the machine and drained the water out of the machine. Apparently there is a "lockout" safety feature that refuses to open the door when there is a certain amount of water in the machine. After draining the majority of the water out, I then cleaned the filter (and more water came out- have the bucket and towels ready!). The ultimate problem was that the pump was shot. While reseaching my own records, I discovered that I had purchased an extended warranty for the first and only time because LG was new to making washers. The pump was replaced at no cost within 24 hours.

ME TOO!! Good Luck Talking to Whirlpool! I unplugged mine for a few mins and plugged her back in and it unlocked the door. I have read in here that the F-01 Code is the death code! But I'm still waiting for the repair guy! Good Luck
